UV stabilised PVC true union ball check valve. Comes with PTFE (Teflon) seats and our unique double stem seal system (standard in EPDM but also available in Viton). ). Also features a chem lock insert In the end so the true union can be removed for service work and the ball will not leak when in the closed position. Great for corrosive or chemical media where traditional material such as brass and stainless steel are not suitable. Commonly used in the aquaculture industry (sea water), chemical dosing, water treatment and pool filtration. Choose between Solvent Weld (ANSI Standard designed to fit Schdule 40 & 80 pipe) and BSP threaded ends. Stainless Steel spring allows it to be operated on any angle however this can be removed if it is incompatible with the media (in this case the check valve must be operated vertically ). Pls Note: The 1/2" version of this product does not contain a spring.

Change the 'E' to a 'V' for FKM. Change the 'B' to an 'S' for Solvent Weld.

1/2" Solvent Weld UPVC Ball Check Valve 10 Bar FKM
Hi, I ordered the goods and received them in 2 days which was fantastic.
I wrote a query about the type/ material of the springs last time i purchased these and they were stainless steel which isnt suitable for corrosive chemicals.
The staff even went one step further and took out the stainless steel springs that werent required without me even having to ask them.

1/2" Solvent Weld UPVC Ball Check Valve 10 Bar FKM
The check valves were very good quality WF valves however they were ordered in Viton for resistance to Sodium Hypochlorite, however they have a spring inside.
I’m unsure of what material these springs are made of but I would doubt that they are made of a chemical resistant steel such as hastelloy C which is commonly used in chemical injection valve springs. Could you please confirm the spring material as I may need to remove them for use with Hypo.

1-1/2" BSP UPVC Ball Check Valve 10 Bar EPDM
Looks like a ball check valve, but it has a fake ball shaped diaphragm.
Apart of this, it is a good quality and robust product.

1/2" BSP UPVC Ball Check Valve 10 Bar EPDM
While the valve seems to be good quality, there is no spring in the valve to hold the ball closed, so unless it is mounted vertically so gravity can let ball drop back onto the seat it doesn't work and is useless.

1" BSP UPVC Ball Check Valve 10 Bar EPDM
I bought this to use as a foot valve so that I could avoid having to prime a transfer pump every time I stopped and started it. It works exactly as required.
Being able to easily access the valve to clear it is very handy.
